Step inside after a day of exploring, and you're met with the soft sea breeze and the inviting glow of rich burgundy and gold interiors. The Tavern captures the essence of old-world European charm while celebrating Goa’s vibrant culinary roots. Chef Chris Saleem brings together Portuguese, Goan, and Indian influences in a tapas-style menu crafted with local, seasonal ingredients.

Our multi-cuisine restaurant in North Goa seats 16 guests indoors and 24 on the sea-facing verandah—each spot offering a different slice of the view. Whether you’re overlooking the Terekhol River and historic courtyard or relaxing in the cosy indoor lounge, the panoramic ocean backdrop sets the tone. The menu is intentionally concise, ensuring every dish is fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and light enough to keep you going. It’s coastal dining done with finesse, where the flavours do the talking.

As evening sets in, linger over cocktails, paprika almonds, and cumin-spiced prawns. From fig and arugula salads to prawn balchão, every dish reflects the chef’s hands-on approach and personal touch. Planning to come with a group? Tables fill fast—especially for parties of four or more—so it’s best to book ahead.
